Ukrainian law enforcement agencies have identified 130 individuals who were likely involved in the clashes that took place in Petropavlivska Borshchahivka, Kyiv Oblast, on 2 November. The identification process was conducted by police officers working in coordination with the Security Service of Ukraine.

According to the National Police of Ukraine, criminal analysts have determined that 27 of the identified persons took an active part in the unlawful actions. An additional 24 individuals exhibited aggressive behavior, incited the public, and deliberately provoked conflicts with law enforcement officers and servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine.

The clashes resulted in significant damage to official vehicles. Police reported that four police cars and one National Guard bus were damaged during the events. The authorities stated that the actions of all active participants will receive a legal assessment as part of ongoing investigations led by the National Police, the Security Service of Ukraine, and the Office of the Prosecutor General.

The incident began on 2 November when a crowd gathered in Petropavlivska Borshchahivka, where National Guard servicemen were stationed. The gathering was triggered by unverified reports alleging that men were being detained and tortured at the location. The 1st Azov Corps of Ukraine's National Guard clarified that the specific deployment point involved was used to house mobilized personnel and servicemen who had gone AWOL while awaiting assignment to military units.

As the situation escalated, the crowd attacked a National Guard bus. National Guard Commander Oleksandr Pivnenko and the leadership of the National Police arrived at the scene to manage the crisis. Later in the evening, Kyrylo Budanov, Head of the President's Office, also arrived to help resolve the situation. Military Ombudswoman Olha Reshetylova has ordered an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Investigative outlet Slidstvo.Info reported that the rumors of unlawful detention were disseminated by a woman named Valentyna Moloda. She claimed to be the owner of a healthcare company called Med-Prestige. The journalists established that the private ambulance Moloda used had not been in operation since 2023.

Budanov later reported that Moloda, who was the first to arrive at the building in an ambulance and claim that servicemen were being unlawfully detained, had been apprehended. She was served with a notice of suspicion and remanded in custody without bail.

Two other participants in the events, Tetiana Kiriieva and Viktor Yen, have also been served with notices of suspicion and remanded in custody without bail. The authorities are continuing their work to determine the legal status of the remaining identified individuals.

Ukrainska Pravda has requested comment on whether there are any new detainees in the case and whether notices of suspicion are being drawn up for them. The investigation remains active as officials seek to fully understand the sequence of events that led to the clashes.
