President Donald Trump stated on Saturday that the United States has destroyed much of Iran's military infrastructure but still needs to address one or two specific targets. Speaking to reporters at his residence in Florida, he identified a suspected nuclear site known as Pickaxe Mountain as a primary objective. Trump said the US could handle these remaining targets within ten minutes.

"We have neutralized their nuclear capability. We still have to deal with, I would say, one or two sites, but we can do that in 10 minutes," Trump told the press. He added, "Probably you can look at Pickaxe Mountain, and that has to be dealt with. We can do all that very quickly." The Iranian government has previously denied that any nuclear work is taking place at that location.

The conflict began in late February when the United States and Israel launched military operations against Iran. Trump described the ongoing negotiations to end the war as going well, but he cautioned that the Iranian side is not very reliable. He emphasized that the US is not in a rush to launch new offensive actions because it has already decimated Iranian military forces and its nuclear program.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said earlier on Saturday that Trump has not yet made a final decision on new strikes against Iran. Rubio indicated that the US remains open to a diplomatic solution. This comment came as Trump warned that further military action could occur after the upcoming US legislative elections next week. He previously suggested he was considering finishing the job all at once.

Iran's Supreme Leader warned the United States and Israel on Saturday against launching new attacks. This warning followed Trump's threats to resume bombing after the elections. The US president reiterated his stance that the US has the upper hand in the conflict and can strike remaining targets rapidly if needed.
